Photography in Berlin

A three-week photography workshop in the sexy, edgy German capital, Berlin. This intensive course will include studio visits with professional photographers, artists, galleries and museums, focusing on contemporary and historical photography.

 

The Bauhaus and Berlin Architecture

Field trips on bikes, by foot, and bus will give you the opportunity to visit the architectural highlights of Berlin and beyond. Our main focus will be the International Style of the 1920s, city planning in the 1930s and the impact of Germany’s separation and unification on the capital.

 

Digital and Traditional Illustration in Berlin

Gear up for the digital world of moving images and video games with a solid foundation in traditional and digital techniques. Fill your sketchbook and digital canvases with the help of our professionals from the industry.

 

Berlin Culture and History

Discover the famous and hidden cultural treasures of past and present Berlin. We will explore historical movements and current scenes. The course will introduce you to conventional and digital culture of the city.

Program details

// 3-week/90-hour study program at btk

// 6 ECTS awarded upon successful completion of all units

// Language of instruction is English 
    (no German proficiency required)

// optional German crash course

// Program fees: € 1750 Early bird rate
(application before 1st June 2012)

   € 1900 Regular course fee

This fee includes tuition, all excursions, accommodation, free public transportation, and lunch for the days at btk.
