University of Applied Sciences Europe ’s Fees and Financing

  • Tuition fees: Bachelor Courses

    FOR EU APPLICANTS

    665€ per month (with payment over 42 months and all semesters)

    All costs are included in the monthly tuition fee.
    No additional costs will be incurred, such as a matriculation fee, exam fees, bachelor thesis fee or similar (as long as the course is completed within the standard study period).
    The costs for the semester abroad are not included in these fees as there are substantial differences depending on country and university.

    Discounts:
    For payment of the entire semester price at the beginning of the semester: 1,25%
    For payment of the entire course before the course begins: 3%

    Rebates:
    If siblings are already studying at University of Applied Sciences Europe  then you can apply for a rebate of 10%.

    Alumni of our university get a rebate of 15%.

    Total for payment over 42 months = 27,930€


    Beyond that, we do have to charge you for the semester ticket, which you can use throughout the entire semester for the respective public transportation systems.

    • Berlin: 193.80€ for the A, B, and C regions of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe BVG (for the 2018 summer semester)
    • Hamburg: 176.10€ for the “Großbereich” area of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund HVV (for the 2018 summer semester)
    • Iserlohn: 165.90€ for the Ruhr-Lippe Ticket of the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Ruhr-Lippe VRL (for the 2018 summer semester)

    FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS

    ​​Definition of a non-EU Applicant: this price model is applicable for students with a non-EU nationality.

    865€ per month

  • Government-sponsored support

    Students at a private university are eligible for government support according to the German Training Assistance Act (BAföG). The amount of support depends on your income and assets. If you are eligible for support, you should fill out the application form as soon as possible upon being accepted to University of Applied Sciences Europe . 

  • Application fee

    FOR EU APPLICANTS

    There is no application fee for EU citizens.

    FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS

    After your application, we will directly check if you meet the formal requirements to study at the University of Applied Sciences Europe. If this is the case, you will be asked to pay a one-time non-refundable application fee of 50 €. Once this fee is received, we will further assess your application.

    We have partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of this fee. Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency. Once you are asked to pay the application fee of 50 €, you can do so here: Flywire Payment Terminal.

  • Reservation fee

    FOR EU APPLICANTS

    There is no reservation fee for EU citizens.

    FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS

    Once you are accpeted as a student, you will be asked to pay a reservation fee of 3,000 €. The reservation fee is a one-time payment that will sercure your spot and that will be deducted from the total cost of the program, before you are invoiced for tuition.

    For example: If your total programme costs 30,000 € and the reservation fee is paid (3,000 €), you would only be invoiced for the remaining 27,000 € in tuition once you start studying.

    We have partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of this fee. Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency. Once you are accpeted as a student you will be asked to pay the reservation fee of 3,000 €. The payment can be done via the Flywire Payment Terminal.

  • Other financing options

    The university awards each semester partial scholarships for the length of one semester. The selection process is managed by University of Applied Sciences Europe .
    For the coming Summer Semester 2018 the application deadline will not be set before April. Further and detailed information will be shares with the students as soon as possible.

    Many financial institutions, such as Deutsche Bank, Sparkasse or Volksbank, and Raiffeisenbank, offer school loans with flexible monthly payment options. They allow you to negotiate individual terms at a low yearly interest rate.  

    Germany’s development bank KfW grants full-time students a school loan with a monthly payment option at a low interest rate.

    Particularly talented students can also apply for a scholarship with the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German Scholarship Foundation), or with special-interest or regional foundations.   • Paying with Flywire

    The University of Applied Sciences Europe has partnered with Flywire to make fast easy payments available for students from over 220 countries, in more than 100 local currencies and methods. Flywire also offers significant savings on exchange rates.

    Paying tuition with Flywire is safe, fast, and convenient. Follow the simple steps below to submit your payment:

    1. Get started: Go to www.flywire.com/pay/ue-germany and enter your payment amount and country of origin.

    2. Select payment method: Review the payment options provided, and select your preferred method. Options may include bank transfer, debit/credit card in your home currency, electronic payment, or other local options.

    3. Enter your details: Create your account, then enter some basic information to initiate your payment. Flywire will include this information with your payment for easy identification by our staff.

    4. Make your payment: Follow the instructions provided to send funds to Flywire via your selected method. 

    5. Track and confirm: Track your payment by logging into your Flywire account at any time. Receive text and email status updates each step of the way, including confirmation when your payment has been delivered.
