From the 14th to the 16th of July, we invite you to the summer round exhibition at our campus in Hamburg - Altona.
The four courses of the Art & Design department will present selected studies and dissertations of the last two semesters as well as projects already awarded by the ADC (Art Directors Club). In exhibitions and installations, students and teachers provide insights into current, contentual and visual discourses of their studies.
Highlights of the Film and Motion Design course are cinematic productions of the Altona townhall. The motion design cinemas, will present a cross-section of resulting projects from fields of audiovision, experimental film, animated short film, documentary film, AV installation and 360 ° video.
The photography course will show different genres such as fashion, fine art, documentary photography. See also: Series of personal disputes, e.g. Origin and family, socially relevant aspects of sustainability, visual self-experiments on excessive waste production and cheerful thought-worlds. In addition to representations on the wall and in the room, display-based, linear and non-linear narrative forms are also going to be presented.
Among the positions shown in the Communication Design course, there are works from a cooperation with the Millerntor Gallery and Viva con Aqua, as well as contributions from the course "Ortslinien" to Walter Kempowski's last, previously unpublished work. In addition, prototypes of smart everyday objects such as an emotional coffee machine and a communicative scarf were developed.
How do I tell a story without words? How can a construction site be visualized? What is a journal?
The study course Illustration spreads a picture of the spa projects to make the work visible in pictures.
It will be an impressive weekend! On Friday we will start with a vernissage and party. The exhibition is open on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a drink and sausage sale.
